Mohahazy Azhar

Azhar (DOB 09.11.1991) was born in the well known Afghan Hound kennel of Kristina Nemeth. In his early years he already showed very promising results. During his racing career he was able to win several big international racings in Europe. At 11 years of age Azhar has been retired from active racing for some years now. But he still enjoys running and sometimes you can see him on his beloved Vienna oval racing track in Untersiebenbrunn. Below you will find his most important sporting results:

European Champion Lostallo (CH) 1994
Vice European Champion Gelsenkirchen (D) 1993
Vice European Champion Selestat 1996 (F)
Austrian Racing Champion 1993 (in Afghan Hounds)
Austrian Racing Champion 1994, 1995, 1996 (all sighthounds)
3 x International Austrian Champion
2 x International German Champion
2 x National Austrian Champion
2 x Hungarian Champion

Not only the number (86 progeny in Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Slowakia, Switzerland, Germany and Austria) but also the racing abilities of his offspring is highly recognized internationally. Both O-litters at the Taziban (CH) and Paschdou's (D) kennel produced extremly successful bitches like O'Suki Taziban (World Champion 2000, 16 oval racetrack records) and Paschdou's Oyasha (World Champion 2003, European Champion 2001 and German Federal Racing Champion 2003). The repeat breeding of Azhar and Qurani el Mahadhan at Taziban kennel produced the World Champion in 2002, 2003 and European Champion 2002 Rahson Taziban, as well as his sister Rasheeda Taziban, which became European Champion in 2002, just to name a few. 50% of the last years final participants at World and European Championships are sons and daughters of Azhar.

At dog shows Azhar and some of his progeny out of the Paschdou's O- and Q-litter and at Cassedy's received an excellent rating. His offspring at Taziban is very successful at lure coursing as well.

Besides the "fast legs" of Azhar's offspring the owners of the dogs are very pleased by their nice characters.
